“Free Sudoku game for your mobile”
If you're the sort of person who loves to play numbers games but is fed up with having to splash out on Sudoku books then why not install one on your mobile?
M-SuDoKu is one of about 12 million Sudoku games available for phones, and is compatible with all Java phones (as long as you have a colour screen). As usual, the game is all about the numbers, and you must make sure that the numbers one to nine are distributed correctly within each 3x3 grid, remembering that you can't duplicate a number in any row, column or grid.
I'm getting slightly bored of reviewing Sudoku games, such is their prevalence in the mobile phone world. As a result, I always like to see some kind of innovation, or new twist on the puzzle that separates a game from the rest of the pack. Unfortunately, there's absolutely nothing new about the gameplay in M-SuDoKu.
There are, however, a few different options that at least add a bit of variety to each game. For instance, you can customize the game background, choose from two difficulty levels and check out online tutorials.
It's certainly not the worst version of the game out there, but please Sudoku developers, can we have something a bit different?!

From the publisher of M-SuDoKu
M-SudoKu is a J2ME version of the popular SuDoKu puzzle game (please have a look here for rules). From version 0.8.0 on, M-SuDoKu supports an unlimited number of grids! To run it on a mobile phone (or PDA), make sure that it supports CLDC 1.0 and MIDP 1.0 (these were the first J2ME specifications to be released, so any device claiming "Java support" should be able to run this game).
At the time being the only limitation is the requirement for a color display: the game won't run on monochrome displays.
